3D glue
Extra wide natural linen ribbon and some natural string

The ‘Be Creative’ luster card is lovely to work with and doesn’t crack when scored. The pack comes in a range of colours which are fantastic – I almost couldn’t choose which colour I wanted to use.

This card is quick and easy to make. If you use 3D glue like me, you will need drying time. However, if you are in a rush and need a last minute card, you could use 3D foam tape. I decided to use neutral colours so that the bird tag would stand out and make it the focus of the card. In my opinion, it would be perfect as a male or female card just to tell them ‘I love you’.

To start, I created a 4″x4″ card base. I cut a piece of pearl luster card measuring 8″x4″ and scored at 4″ along the 8″ length.

Taking the bird tag, I wrapped the string around the top of the tag, threading charms as I go. Then I secured in place with a piece of tape on the back.

Next, I cut a piece of bronze luster card, approximately 3″x3″ and glued it to the centre of the front of the card. Then, I cut a piece of the wide ribbon and glued that in the centre of the bronze layer.

To finalise, I squeezed a fair amount of 3D glue on the back of the tag, as I wanted good elevation, and placed it on a wonky angle in the center of the card.
